CalDigit has developed the universal CalDigit USB-C HDMI DOCK docking station to which we can connect any device with a USB-C or Thunderbolt port. When connected to a laptop via the Thunderbolt port, the docking station provides full Thunderbolt port performance, i.e. 40 Gb/s, and when connected to a laptop with a USB-C connector, it provides performance up to 10 Gb/s.

The CalDigit USB-C HDMI Dock is a versatile docking station that adapts to any device with a USB-C (Type-C) port to which it is connected. When connected to a Thunderbolt laptop, it offers full 40 Gbps performance, and when connected to a USB-C laptop, it delivers 10 Gbps performance to provide exactly what your laptop offers.
DUAL HDMI AND BUILT-IN CONNECTIVITY
The USB-C HDMI dock features two built-in HDMI 2.0b ports for directly connecting two 4K 60 Hz monitors in an “extended” or “mirrored” configuration to a Thunderbolt laptop without the need for any USB-C video adapters. Apple laptops with M1 processors can be connected to a single external monitor, allowing you to extend the laptop’s built-in screen to a single “extended” external monitor.
USB-C users can connect to a single 4K 30 Hz monitor or two 2K 30 Hz monitors depending on their computer’s configuration, bandwidth, and DisplayPort version.
The CalDigit USB-C HDMI docking station supports wired Ethernet connectivity. It features a built-in Gigabit Ethernet port.
