Control and Connectivity – Easy Access to Mac Studio Computers
Sonnet RackMac Studio is a rugged 3U steel rack enclosure for mounting one or two Mac Studio computers in a rack. Easy installation of computers behind a quick-release front panel. Convenient front-panel operation allows you to power on Mac Studio computers using dedicated power buttons, connect USB devices via pass-through USB-A ports, and access the computers’ front ports and SD card slots. The Sonnet RackMac Studio design allows for easy connection and disconnection of cables without removing the computers from the enclosure.
Vents on the top of the RackMac Studio ensure unobstructed access to wireless signals. The RackMac Studio is designed to allow normal WiFi and Bluetooth operation in most configurations (depending on rack type and position within the rack), so you can use wireless devices and iOS® device control apps.
Easy airflow – supports the Mac Studio’s thermal design Sonnet RackMac Studio protects Mac Studio computers without trapping them in a hot air loop inside the rack, supporting their thermal design so they stay just as cool in the rack as they do on a desk. Ventilation openings on the front panel of the enclosure and an enclosed compartment beneath each Mac Studio allow the computers to draw in cool air through their bases, while the fully open rear allows them to freely expel warm air.
SSD Storage Space – Each Mac Studio can accommodate up to three Thunderbolt or USB
SSDs. Mac Studio provides space under each Mac Studio for three Thunderbolt or USB SSDs (sold separately) up to 3.2 inches wide and 0.75 inches tall. Simply remove the rear access panel, apply the included adhesive magnet to the bottom of the SSD, insert the SSD and connect it to the computer, then reinstall the panel. This space is also suitable for other slim bus-powered devices.
