All SymplyPro LTO SAS drives are fully compatible with Linear Tape File System (LTFS) software, which enables the familiar drag-and-drop interface, allowing users to transfer files to tape storage in the same way as with conventional hard drives .
LTFS can also reduce the need for specialized backup/archiving software by allowing different users to easily exchange data across Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems.

Desktop systems are equipped with two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy-chaining and fast device charging. They also include a SAS expansion port and a SAS host connectivity port in case you need to connect other SAS devices to a Thunderbolt-equipped computer or use it with a workstation without Thunderbolt.
