The adapters work with DisplayLink technology.
By using video adapters with DisplayLink technology, in total we can connect up to three monitors to Mac Mini computers with M1 or M2 processors, up to two external monitors to MacBook Pro and MacBook Air computers, plus additionally display images on the built-in laptop screen.
